    Thanks Nigel. This is in fact, a peony, nursed back from near death (bought from the plant hospital in B&Q) over the past 2 years and the first time it has flowered. It is so 'blowsy' and gorgeous that I sat outside just looking at it for a while earlier - then I thought I would take a picture and post it instead. Glad you liked it. BM
